December

by MorbidCupcake   Jan 24, 2009

The rain bounces off the plexiglass window
As she watches her future get thrown down the drain
She's had visions of falling
And nightmares, re-assuring her it'll never be the same
But then came the rain

Pitter patter droplets, bleeding crystal bubbles through the surface
Her heart shattering inside her chest, and stopping the natural flow of oxygen
What would they think if they knew?
What would happen to her?

Desperation ran through her blood stream
And she waited for the feeling to pass
But it stayed with her even longer
Pulling her down into another bleak December storm
With no hope for her to be rescued from anyone's cradling arms
