A Lesson

by silvershoes   Feb 4, 2009

When evil surges deep in the night,
Learn to fuel fire while day is light,
For to wait to catch a flame on wood,
After sun has sunken and all its good,
Is drawing certain a far greater risk,
For dark is blind and though it whisk,
You cast your wariness toward a chore,
That would have profited, done before.
