Suicide..

You say you wanna end your life
You say you're through with it
I don't wanna see you go
Please, please don't do this.

I've been in your shoes
I know how you feel
But this isn't a dream
Death is real..

I know heartbreak sucks
Everything else does too
But don't commit suicide please
I'll really miss you.

You're my best friend Jake
Please don't leave me here alone
Every-time you write death on YOUR arms
Leaves deeper cuts to MY bones.

If you really do this
I'll do the same
I can't let you leave me
Jake, I feel your pain.

I've wanted to die since my mom left me
I thought I had to purpose in life
But now that I'm older, I understand
Yet I still can't put down the knife.

All I'm saying is please think about it
Don't leave this world just yet
You have your whole life to do what you want
Make it one you will never forget..

    I would like to start with the emotion behind the poem.. great feeling sad.. but i have an almost positive feeling its true.. jake and you are good friends friends dont leave each other behind.. he is lucky to have someone who cares wither he goes or stays.. very lucky. as for the actual poem well written very good structure.. and it is good to see that u put the same amount of effort into nearly all ur poems.. i have not been disappointed.. yet :P keep up the work ill be reading it..

    This was really good. The emotion was so strong. I hope your friend doesn't go, and you follow. It would be a waste of a wonderful talent. I enjoyed it :)
