Phone Call

by gasping for air   Jun 11, 2004

The last phone call,
Our last phone call.
Was when I heard,
The words I thought,
I would never hear from you.
Right now I want to cry,
Oh so much,
But I'm not and I hope I never do,
Because it's not worth it,
You're not worth the energy.
My best friend keeps telling me,
That you were the one,
Who lost out,
And I'm actually beginning to believe her,
It's your loss not mine.
