Don't Fall In Love With Love

by edy   Jun 11, 2004

I fell in love with love
The results
Pain, Sorrow, Lie's
I fell so deep in that trap
I almost had illusions of another guy

It was almost like an obsession
But wait that's the way love goes
But no that isn't true
For Love is meant to be a happy long road

Obsession wasn't my intention
Yet it crept right up on my back
I swore in my heart it was love
But yet all along love was what I lacked

I fell in love with the illusion of love
All in itself

Not knowing what it was
Depression is what it dealt

Yet I never had any bad intention's
Love was a dream of mine
But I fell in love with love
Throughout this poem I cry

Tear after Tear
Pain after Pain
I fell in love with love
That's why I'm going insane

Crazy you may think
Insane far-reached
But if you saw what I saw
Or felt what I felt
You would realize
Love bring's your life to a halting screech

A little rusty hope you enjoy.
