Circumstances

by Paul London   Feb 17, 2009

Sometimes late at night I lay awake deep in thought.
Wondering and pondering how I got to this moment.
A moment in life where I made whatever choice I made. Choices that put me exactly where I am today.

How Many times would life have changed?
If only I had done something slightly different.
There are too many times to count, things I would do differently.
The people I could have and should have spared from pain.
The Lord I denied because I needed someone to blame.

Our decisions make us who we are.
Circumstances are tests to build character and set life in motion.
Yet we all clumsily muddle our way through them.
Not really knowing if we passed or failed.

For the test of life has no real answer key.
Only HE knows what is to become or to be.
At last I have found one thing for certain.
As long as I keep faith in HIM and not look for small miracles.
Life, this precious life we all have and share will continue.

So when I leave this place for all eternity.
Let it be known that I give my life to HIM above.
Not to circumstances or choice.

Such a beautiful and inspirational write. The circumstances in life will always lead us to a road and through our savior we will be directed in the right path. Remember that everything happens for a reason. I am really enjoying reading your work and look forward to more great writes from you.

    Take Care, Kay
