A Lover's Death

by Jenna Rose Kat   Feb 22, 2009

Everyone is crying,
But I don't know why,
People say someone's dying,
But there's only will to try,
I'm not sure how,
But they don't see me,
I'm not sure now,
But I think the one dying is me.

Because there's roses on my grave,
But I'm not dead,
My emotions are empty,
And my mind has turned to void.

Friends and family are crying in the church,
And I walk down the aisle, as if marrying Death,
But the speakers speak, and I hold my perch,
Then you spoke, and it was Angel's breath,
Take me home and I'll wait for you,
Because you were always there for me,
I'll never forget the good times we knew,
So now you'll set me free.

Because there's roses on my grave,
But I'm not dead,
My emotions are empty,
And my mind has turned to void.

I'll wait for you on the other side,
And you'll fly to my on Angel's wings.
