Six- In Loving Memory of my Grandfather

by Jenna Rose Kat   Feb 24, 2009

Six seconds ago,
He swore his love upon his life,
Never to leave her,
Never to bring her strife.

In Norway,
About six minutes ago,
A man hit his wife,
Because she didn't live up to his ego.

Back in America, on the Oregon coast,
A happy couple lay in the sand,
Watching the sun go down,
Hand in hand.

And six hours just passing,
A Chinese family of four,
They sat down for a nice dinner,
Sun rays coming through the door.

And six months ago,
Another member of her family died,
And just six years ago,
Her everything died.
