The blackest of moons...

by Polaroid   Feb 24, 2009

The blackest of moons,
still shines shadows on the night
It all seems too soon
hold on with all your might

Walking through the dark
and footsteps in the snow
A memory lighting a spark
of a time I used to know

Running through the rain
drops pouring down my brow
all these days are just same
I just wonder how?

Waking in the early hours
Before the sun has risen
Loneliness devours
but through it a new hope arisen

Remember happy memories
before you lost the fight
Forget goodbyes remember replies
Find your inner light

Even through the darkest days
and the coldest of all nights
there is love shining just for you
telling you that there's a way through

the blackest of moons,
Will always shine shadows on the night
Bringing hope and happiness
when none was in the light.

Wow, Libby! Your rhyming! That was awesome!

You're almost as good as me ;)

    This stanza here:

    Waking in the early hours
    Before the sun has risen
    Loneliness devours
but through it a new hope arisen

Very pretty but the flow was a little off and you almost rhymed the same word.

Besides that, wow. Honestly, (not saying this just because you're my friend) I'm really really really jealous. But proud of you aswell. You have an amazing talent. I can't wait to read your next one. They just keep on coming and coming!

    luv you oodles
