Me and My Selves!

by Mister 47   Feb 25, 2009

Alone with some deadly thoughts and a sound
Surrounded by my selves but I was not to be found

I can fill my empty heart with all this hot rain
But nothing on earth can make me feel less pain

The silent screaming of my walls, closing on me
Getting darker with the minute till I could not see

I feel with no heart, If only this part I can give away
I hate or love, I don't really know what to say

It is not really a matter of to be or not to be
It is a matter of without you I don't want to be

Ever think about the future, when I look, I see you
But getting over you is what I am trying to do

This poem is really deep with it's meaning...

I feel with no heart, If only this part I can give away
I hate or love, I don't really have much to say

-I understand what you're trying to say here...there isn't any more emotion in your heart...all the senses is numb to your touch leaving you with nothing but emptiness

Overall you did a wonderful job, i really felt the emotions that you had display

    5/5

"I can fill my empty heart with all this hot rain

Your words here really got to me and made me feel as sad as you probably did when you wrote them. Because many times in life we try to fill out hearts because they are empty yet although full we cannot forget the marks that time leave on them.
It is not really a matter of to be or not to be
It is a matter of without you I don't want to be"

And here you really went big with your words and strong emotion. The way you expressed how you feel using these phrases was very clever and I think my favorite part of the poem.
