There you stand
Caressed by the sun
Nothing between us but lies
lingering
Drowning in your pride
you let me fall
fall to my knees
wanting nothing more then to be wanted

Lord bring me up
Off the ground
I fold my hands
Like the pages of a book
closing in on my life

Wish you could see
What she's done to my wings
like a fallen star
left naked in the dark

I'm no angel
Just your daughter
Lost in pain
Empty,
Broken

    It was like when you go down a mountain,(stay with me now)lol
    you get relief from the stress...it wasn't like other poems and i think the different form makes it a relief, and so moving

    Well thanks :) Yeah, I am very dark with my emotions. And I don't really do ..structure...I just write it how I say it in my head...which, I guess is what you're supposed to do :)
