Kaleidoscope Colors...

by Polaroid   Mar 2, 2009

Broken wax crayons
crumbling into dust
Childhood dreams
turning into rust.

Funny how things go
Losing whats most dear
A needle in a haystack
a bone chilling fear

Lost memories are hidden
in an easy place to find
but we're looking too hard
with eyes that are blind

Hide-and-seek hearts
have minds of their own
Running from a truth
we'd wish we'd known

Kaleidoscope colors
spinning in a wheel
we're all slowing losing
the ability to feel.

Rhyming-scheme-wise, thats one of my new favorites. It was a fun poem to read, and the flow worked really well. Do not know how you do it. Keep it up tho!

Very beautiful. You're rhyming seemed a little blan in this poem, like you were running out of things to write. But it was still very well written, 5/5.

    luv ya,
