The Forgotten Ones

by Jenna Rose Kat   Mar 7, 2009

The world falls so hard on us,
Every day it's like being lost in a maze,
I'm so confused with all my problems,
You keep bleeding because there are no kinda hands,
We are the result of the forgotten ones.

There is no time for love,
Only time for jealousy,
No more cures for the sick,
Diseases keep on spreading,
We are the result of the forgotten ones.

The homeless are always searching for home,
The hungry's stomach are ravenous wolves,
Where are the parents to the orphaned child?
They left her behind and forgot to return,
We are the result of the forgotten ones.

You can't help the poor, for you are poor as well,
Never will I help the abused; I am struggling too,
You and I, we are both dying,
But yet, we help one another to survive,
We are the result of the forgotten ones.

We are always in pain,
No one cares for us,
Our hands reach for them,
But they turn us away,
We are the result of the forgotten ones.

The old are always fading from the world,
The young are always facing full hate,
We are rejected, dry, unprepared, and unloved,
They have lost hopes and broken dreams,
We are the result of the forgotten ones.
