Sick, Lost, and Faithless

by Jenna Rose Kat   Mar 7, 2009

Sick, lost, faithless,
The world spins a deadly turn,
The Angels swear upon their light,
While the Demons weep and burn.

Unknown legacies are secretly pursued,
Family mysteries are suddenly solved,
Breaking the chains of law mean nothing,
And soon truth will be dissolved.

The future holds everything in its arms,
No one will shape your destiny but you,
Don't let regret be your souls friend,
It will pull you under and make you blue.

Like a blanket, you cover the truth with lies,
Sinister dreams keep you up at night,
Feeding the pain, bit by bit,
You awake in the white light.

Nothing will stop you now,
Now that hate runs in my blood,
You know your trust means nothing to me,
Because you I never loved.
