Te amo means I love you

Te amo means I love you
but I know you cant hear it
I feel the way you looked
left bodiless with a cold,cold spirit

you never harmed anyone
or said anything not nice
and when you knew the consequences
you were willing to pay the price

you laughed with tender joy and love
because that's what you made me do
and even when it wasn't that funny
you found a way to make my face blue

when i cried, you cried
because we both cried together
and when things changed
you helped me to feel better

you never begged or borrowed
because you had it there
and when i wanted to talk
I knew your eyes, ears, and heart would care

and without further explanation
you my best friend come true
and my tear leave stains on you tombstone
because to amo means i love you.

    This was a nice poem, although I thought it would be better in the love poems section since it's about love?

    Your flow was off on the last line of the first stanza. And you might want to revise:

    'or said anything not nice'

    It doesn't really make any grammatical sense.

    'you laughed with tender joy and love
    because that's what you made me do
    and even when it wasn't that funny
    you found a way to make my face blue'

    How does somebody laugh with tender love? I liked the last two, quite imaginative.

    The rest of the poem was pretty nice with some good highlights. Just be careful of flow and grammar.
