Jumbled Thoughts

by BornAgainWriter   Mar 13, 2009

My nervous system telling my leg to shake, constantly,
My knee almost to the point of clenching; locking up,
A knee lock, sometimes it's the other way around,
It's usually people are caught in a headlock, hmm.

Furry blue, orange, purple and pink house slippers,
As comfy as the name given, and warm at night,
White pair of ankle socks, and Vaselined toes and heels,
All connected to a long pair of thick legs, on my body.

I hide to keep my thoughts to myself; myself only,
Pushing my fingers against my eyelids, blurred up,
Twisting around in circles beside myself, don't touch,
I don't want to feel like this, dizzy and confused.

Navy blue shorts covering the forbidden curves,
Revealing the spelled out name, "Volleyball Girl"-
A white shirt that overlaps the elastic waist line,
Spelling out my name, in calligraphy bold letters.
