Seasons

by Lyssi Lori   Mar 15, 2009

The sun shines its beautiful rays,
Dreamers live their glory days.
Seasons come and seasons go,
Live the only life that you know.

Leaves falling from the trees,
People are such busy bees.
Rushing from here to there,
Never having time to spare.

Snowflakes falling all my face,
Lights make it a magical place.
Children in their buttoned coats,
Keeps the town's spirits afloat.

Raindrops falling from the sky,
Lifeless people passing by.
Seasons come and seasons pass,
It's life beneath the looking glass.

This is a very nicely written poem, I love how you compare the characteristics of people with that of the seasonal elements!! The things you have written can frequently be seen. Great job!! :)
