Unconditional Love

by DeepSoul   Mar 17, 2009

I fall down upon bended knee
praying to the Lord.
I cry out, I cannot go on
I know my prayer is heard.

For when I turned my back on Him,
He was always by my side.
Every step away from Him,
Said He doesn't care, I lied.

I fooled myself in believing,
that I could hide myself from Him,
that He had forgotten me, His daughter
till I heard, "I love you Kim"

The Lord knows my suffering,
for He suffered more than I.
He's felt the heart break and the tears,
the betrayal I felt with each lie.

He wraps His arms around me,
when there's no one that understands.
when I fall from the weight of a heavy world,
wipes my tears away with His hands.

The Lord truly is my Shepherd,
My life is now given to Him,
Leave all of the worries and fears behind,
Leave behind a world of sin.

(There is no point of no return. He loves each of us too much to not give us every opportunity to be with Him again. I know that with all my heart.) Plz leave a comment. :)

Well my friend, these are powerful words that comes straight from the heart.

He wraps his arms around me,
when there's no one that understands.
When I fall from the weight of a heavy world,
wipes my tears away with his hands.

This stanza is very true my frien. When we cry and raise our hands to wipe away the tears, at that precise moment our Lord is doing the same.
I'm overjoyed to know that you are walking in the faith and I thank you for sharing the words of faith and love of Jesus.
    An enjoyable read.
    Keep up the great work.

I really do love this poem, for I am a child as well. I was called to be a preacher at age 12, but the drifted away, and now I try to get back on that path. after a year or two, it seems like I've gone no where, but others say different. this was a 5/5 poem indeed.
