Meaningless

Looks that last to long
Though they don’t mean a thing
Conversations that where spoken
Only to be found pointless
Nothing that happens between us
Holds any significance in the end
Even so,
My heart still yearns for your presence
To hear your voice
And have you look at me
With those bright blue eyes that I love
Simple touches that are never long enough
But you hold no feelings for me
This I truly know
My heart still aches when I think of it
Your rejection
And your apathy towards my feelings
Though you still hurt me
I can’t help but smile when I see you
And my heart still skips a beat when you smile
My mind is lost without you
But you will never feel the same
So I must try to move on
And forget about everything
That never meant anything to you
