10 Minutes and a Piece of Paper

Love is a dangerous sanctuary.

Insanity is a dangerous sense of security.

Seeing is believing, remembering is denying.

Hatred is soothing once you allow it to set in, but loathsome once it dissipates.

I love the mind, for if you put it to work, you can dig a grave and buy an ice cream cone at the same time.

Happiness is a temporary lapse in pain.

Pain is a temporary lapse in happiness.

Stop watching your life and watch somebody else. You'll have to make a choice between fixing theirs and fixing your own life. If you're smart, you'll fix your own life, and if you're kind you'll fix theirs. But if you're kind and smart, you'll never make the decision.

If you hate somebody, don't hurt them. Hurt the ones they love and make them go to therapy for 20 years.

I can't see the stars but I know they're still watching me, for I spy the moon in a summer sky.

Sipping wine from your broken chalice,
It must be hard to love and be callous,
Terribly alone in your synthetic bubble,
Laughing at your heartache and trouble

The rain wishes it were snow
It follows me wherever I go
If it loves me, I'll never know
But I never wish it were snow

Tell me when the warmth goes away, and I will be there

Why fight when you can cry
Why cry when you can die
Why die when you can smile
I'll share mine if you ever need one

Hold my hand, I'll help you find a smile

Love is incredible, edible, expendable
You know you're wanted when you can hear the darkness

If I don't feel watched,
I'm just not at home
If my smile's not botched,
Then it can't be honest

Look at my suffering and feel sorry, but never say it.
