Dear Diary

by Deana   Mar 31, 2009

Dear Diary,
Lying quietly on the bed beside me
Waiting for my touch
Wanting only for me to open up to you
To share the secrets of my heart

I wonder , one day will I look for you
but find you gone
You will take with you
A piece of my soul
Will it be thrown away as if it never mattered ?

But, you are here now,
and I must release this pain
So I confess it all to you
then hide it away, under lock and key.

I really like this one Deana

I wonder , one day will I look for you
    but you will be gone

I would change the second line to

But find you gone, I like this stanza though, it spoke to me because I have been in that position, I love my diary, but it has disappeared in the past and it is like someone stole a piece of you.

I like the way you came to end it, a very enjoyable read, nice work.

Yes, indeed a dairy is a good friend. He will never expose you, like human friends sometimes do;)

I enjoyed this one too, Deana:)

Another exquisite write from you. So many things are shared within the diary regardless if it's actually ever written down. We contain those memories within us. The secrets they can hold would be the only way a man would ever really begin to understand a woman. lol. A marvelous write yet again and I am not suprised in the least. Simply beautiful dear.
    Take Care,
    Kay
