Romeo Sonnet

by Lyssi Lori   Apr 2, 2009

Don't live for your Juliet, live your life at ease.
Build her up, knock her down, love is just a game.
If she ever were to die, would you do the same?
Lie, lie Romeo, do just as you please.

When the jig is up, it's you the guards will seize.
You'll live your life in shadows, hiding in shame.
Or you'll be a hero, receiving all the fame.
Fame or shame, Romeo, choose one of these

Feed her ear candy, false hopes lighten her day.
You'll run around in circles 'til you hit the ground.
Living in a fairytale isn't what you'd think it'd be.
So you'll poison her with kisses when there's nothing left to say.
Without your Juliet, to this book you are bound.
Free your story Romeo, tell them all about your trickery.
