Both sides of the gun

by MorbidCupcake   Apr 18, 2009

Both sides of the gun
With my hand on the trigger
Aiming for the one
The one person who ever made me feel loved

Can you see what I measure you to be?
It isn't pretty
Believe me

Pressures building
Heating is rising
I think I am blinding, myself
Of the light at the top of this black hole
I thought I had a chance to get out
But now, I don't know

Do you see how hard it is to be
a girl like me?
It isn't pretty
Trust me

Both sides of the gun
You're in my view
What am I supposed to do?

I'm pulling the trigger all arong again

I think I've lost my grip

This was a good write, at some points the poem made me lose interest and then just as suddenly made me keep reading. You wrapped this write up nicely.

'I'm pulling the trigger all wrong again

I think I've lost my grip'

^It's a scenario easy to imagine literally, and the sentence itself is though provoking and wrenched my heart.
