Ever so delicately

by MorbidCupcake   Apr 20, 2009

What makes a father surrender
to the karma thrown back in his face?

What makes a mother so scared
to face another day?

Why does the fear resurface in her mind
when the blade's been kept away,
but the hope had run dry?

All these lies, and all the lack of sleep
Might be enough to take me
under
And this time, it won't be done so
carefully
