My love of daydream

I'm searching for a missing fellow,
he has escaped my thoughts tonight.
I think you just might know him,
for his smile is eternally bright.

He wears not, appalling apparel,
but a tight pair of Levi's he'll sport.
If you catch his wandering attention,
no not sex, but he will court.

I know you find it rather odd,
but believe me this boy exists.
For last night in my thoughts,
he stole a Cinderella story kiss.

To his friends he does not share,
intimate things that you hold close.
Certainly on your first date,
he'd bring not a carnation but a rose.

I know it may be quite alarming,
to think of a fellow so great.
So tell me if you have seen him,
he's running a little late.

    Aww, don't we all want a guy like this? Haha. Yeah, Prince Charming would be a wonderful guy to have.

    -- I love how you used the word fellow. I haven't really seen it used a lot, but it fit perfectly into the kind of poem you wrote. It make me think "Gentleman". I don't know why. It just does. :]

    but a tight pair of Levi's he'll sport.
    -- This line made me laugh, because I was thinking of midevil times with knights and prince's and kings, and then jeans. It just brought me back to present day.

    -- I always love when I read poems with princesses. It just makes it.. I don't know magical, and almost kid-like. I miss thinking that those guys exist, but maybe they do. I just haven't found any. lol

    -- Exactly. They're always running late. It makes you wonder if they'll ever show up. :\

    I thought it was a pretty good poem. It didn't really stand out like I would have liked to see, but definitely not bad.
