A Perfect World.

by Lyssi Lori   May 10, 2009

A perfect world!
Wouldn't it be nice?
A place where hearts break once
... not twice.
The sky would be as clear as the ocean
blue
The myth of World Peace would finally be true.
Pollution would be a legend
told around the fire.
Pinocchio wouldn't exist
there'd be no such thing as liars.
There'd be empty jail cells,
no need to fight.
Bright darkness
fearless cowards
and warm winter nights
Everyone would be equal
Everything would be fair.
No surprises,
no adventures,
nothing new to share.
No princesses locked in towers in a far away land
Life would be simple,
Life would be bland.
A life full of love,
A world without hate.
Tis a perfect world,
shouldn't it be great?
Everyone would find true love, first try,
And everyone would reach the Pearly Gates,
if they ever died.
