This poem reads like a Senryu, because a Haiku is strictly about nature and here you have a poem about a path...when you take it literally, you could see it as a path through a landscape..but I don't think you meant it that way.
Thought provoking, deep..we should not abandon the path we have once chosen, unless we have very, very good reasons.
