The Rain

by KemistryKia   Jul 2, 2009

The rain never stops
and when i look into the sun
the rain still never stops
and when i grab my umbrella
i still manage to get wet
and not just a little oops that'll dry later
no i somehow i become drenched
and I'm never able to dry from the rain
a sponge
i absorb all the rain
and even when others think I'm dry
i still manage to be wet
not that i don't want the feeling of desert
the motion of hot
but the rain never stops
it just rains and rains
until i can no longer get anymore wet
until i can no longer get anymore wet

**a poem about hurt, stress will get you wet**

I like this poem. Very well written. I like how you used the rain as a comparative to feeling hurt.

It's a shame you've been hurt so much. I know how hard that is dealing w/pain and hurt. It's hard to break free from that.
