Death of the Sultry Summer

by MissSideways   Jul 23, 2009

Sultry summer & heated kisses
Tears that fell, he never misses

Cherry lips that graced my face
Licked my heart and made it race.

Eyes that stilled my restless soul
Haunt my dreams, but made me whole.

The love I gave, you poisoned so
The night you chose to let 'us' go

Close what started long ago
Our sultry summer now thick with snow.
