Humbled and Hurting

by BornAgainWriter   Jul 27, 2009

I can see you now,
Sitting on my finger,
Chirping out loud,
In rhymthed tones.

If I could, I would-
I'd just sleep all day,
With my revocering-
little humbled mind.

I can feel you now,
Flexing your feathers,
Looking back and forth,
In captivating motions.

If I could, I would-
Make a mountain,
Out of my burdens;
Hurt and all my pain.
