Memories last a lifetime.

Take a stroll down memory lane;
Smell the roses and touch the sky.
Be sure to take everything in.
Don't let this moment pass you by.

Remember old jokes and chuckle.
Recall memories from the past.
Sit back and stay awhile...
Try to make this moment last.

Remember crushes from your childhood
And the heartbreak that came after.
Relive your childhood memories-
All the moments filled with laughter.

Remember deaths of loved ones
And friendships that had to end.
Recall the faces of strangers
Who, in time, became close friends.

Remember all of your secrets
And all the rumors that you heard.
Recall all of the ones you believed
And the ones you found absurd.

Remember all your little white lies
And all of your mistakes.
Recall the ones you've learned from
And the ones you've yet to make.

Now come back to the present,
And stop dwelling on the past.
You'll learn as you grow older
That memories don't last...

Allan asked for a poem.
Sry, I was young.
