Shifting shades

by Arunansu   Aug 5, 2009

**

an elephant-cloud
sprinkles light rain
on its way to twilight

**

an arched bough nods --
bleeding hearts whimper
to a day's parting kiss

**

purple petals weep --
a speck of fire
grows in sky

**

I greet a stranger-wind
we exchange words and colours --
leave out songs for bees

**

embers fade away --
I get submerged
in her nothingness

**

her wavy tresses
play with
jasmine perfume

**
