Love You Mom

by Katie Makena   Aug 11, 2009

You'll never see me graduate
Unfortunately you left too soon
You can never hold me when I cry
Like I did this afternoon

You'll never see me at my wedding
Cry because I'm your little girl
I hope you know I will always love you
No matter what, in this twisted world

You'll never get to see your grandkids
Make a baby blanket of lace
I will defiantly tell them stories
And how you are in a better place

Hopefully one day we will meet again
Up high above the clouds
Not one day will go by
Where I wont shout 'I love you' aloud!!

Rest in Peace mom!

    Beautiful and sadness..
    always seem to go together
    My mom is sick
and though she is not the best
the thought of losing her makes my heart ache
this brought tears to my eyes.
    Beautifuly done.

Such an emotional, heartfelt poem. It brought a tear to me eye. She will look down on you and think about how proud you make her. She will be with you at all these times not in person but in heart. Sorry for your loss, 5/5. Em

I am so sorry that your Mother is gone. This was a lovely tribute to her. Do like I do, continue to talk to her and share everything, she will hear and be with you every step you take in life.
