I solemnly swear

Looking back on the past
that we made long ago,
I find the memories were stories
left far too untold.

As I reminisce upon
the love that we shared,
I wish that your lies,
to me you had spared.

Going back to those feelings
that once were so strong,
I feel that my weakness
was you all along.

Thinking back to the words
"I solemnly swear,
I'll be with you forever,
I'm going nowhere."

Just wanting to feel
that undying heat,
my heart and yours;
a harmonious beat.

Wishing and hoping,
that one day we'll meet;
and again, "forever,"
we'll solemnly speak.

    This is really great and yeah. I don't have any reason to write anymore. I don't use it to vent often and the only person who has pushed me to write recently screwed me over so it doesn't matter anymore. 5/5 I must say.
