This Love

by Millions   Sep 12, 2009

For the last few years, I've been sad,
I've been lonely, I've been mad,
And i believe, that you're responsible.
I don't want to pin the blame on you,
Because i know it's my fault too,
My arms, they just don't stretch an ocean wide.
Well you're stubborn & weird & you know it's true,
Still, I wouldn't change a thing about you,
These are the things, I think i like the best.
You're smart & annoying & you drive me crazy,
I used to get mad, & I'd let you phase me,
But I'd never, ever want for you to leave.
I think if, we gave it a go,
You love me once, you loved me so,
I know you'd find, that magic in you again.

This love it feels so strange, since you went away.
I mean to say, I'll never be whole again.
I think that if you let me try,
I could explain exactly why,
This love of mine, for you, it just don't end.

You always knew how to steal my light,
i was wrong to think, that wasn't right,
'Cos now I'd give it all to you for free.
The way you would use the word love,
Made me think it was nothing 'cos,
You'd tell me all the time, and every single day.
Now what I'm trying to say,
I don't think there's a way,
To love a thing, more than i do you.
And when i close my eyes in bed,
I see us grown, i see us wed,
Call me stupid, but i think that that's a sign.

This love it feels so strange, since you went away.
I mean to say, I'll never be whole again.
I think that if you let me try,
I could explain exactly why,
This love of mine, for you, it just don't end.
