Broken Away.

Tears rush over
The curves of your eyes,
People say things
But whisper your replies.

Pushing your pride
Over the rocky edge,
Swearing another
Hopeless pledge.

Angels who don't bother
With your fate,
Staring at your life
You so dearly hate.

The blood runs cold
Against your pain,
Nothing ever differs,
Always the same.

Change comes
With a lot of work,
Sweaty limbs, tears
And tonnes of hurt.

Some hearts that break
Eventually mend again,
Some leave the world
Coming to an end.

The deaths around
May cause some more,
Pushing the ones who loved
Straight out the door ...
