Your Eyes

by On Cupids Bad Side   Sep 24, 2009

Those brown eyes of yours
Are something else.
Every time I look in them
My body just melts,
All the way down
From my head to my toes.
I get tingles all over
When the love in your eyes shows.
Your eyes tell me things
Sometimes serious, sometimes playful,
But never lying.
And they turn oh so gentle
When they look into mine.
I can see passion,
And pain, and joy in these eyes.
And when they see me hurting
The life in them dies.
In these eyes I see our memories
They come and go in flashes.
I can tell when you want me
Because your eyes hide shyly
Under their long eyelashes.
So when I'm hurting or lonely,
Or life seems to much to endure,
I take one look in your beautiful eyes
And I'm healed.
They are my perfect cure.

Enjoyed reading this. The eyes never lie and so much can be said with them. Well done.
