From smiles to tears
From highs to lows,
Can't seem to escape from life's vicious blows.
From love to hate
From praise to scorn,
Somewhere a heart is bleeding because it's been torn.

From hugs to betrayal
From kisses to fights,
I wonder if there will ever be a light.
From sunshine to darkness
From heaven to hell,
My heart is trapped in this prison cell.

Nowhere to run
No place to hide,
Life seems like an ocean without a tide.
Feeling trapped in myself
No one hears my screams,
I can only break free in my dreams.

    ^^ That was my favorite stanza. Wraps it up well. I enjoyed it because its so true, and so relatable. I liked your choice of wording and your rhyme scheme was great. The only thing is that the flow was slightly off, like, the longer lines, dont flow as smoothly into the shorter lines. If that makes ANY sense? But yeh apart from that a really good write. Nice work, its descriptive and powerful. 5/5
