All The Same

You used to be the only thing that occupied my mind
I thought that a good guy like you was hard to find
Smart, funny, and good looking too
Turns out there's plenty out there exactly like you.

The ones that lie like it's no big deal
Not paying attention to how you might feel
The ones that have a girl and three more on the side
The ones with dirty little secrets that they try to hide.

There's plenty of guys that will play with your heart
And they won't be sorry when the time comes to part
They'll tell you anything just to get it their way
And when they get what they want, they're gone the next day.

It's hard to believe I once thought you were nice
All the sugar and sweets without any spice
It turns out all the guys I meet are the same
But never again will I fall for your game.

    Excellent poem, I can totally relate to it.
    Boys are scum.
    All they do is lie, cheat and so on.
    Fair enough, there may be a few exceptions and I mean a FEW lol.

    Keep looking, you'll find the right guy eventually. They're not all the same... Lol.
    The flow was flawless & the word usage was good.
