Shadow?

Step out of the shadows,
demons take flight,
the coming of dawn,
after a long lonely night,

The sunlight is shining,
the nightmares are gone,
whispers of worries,
back, where they belong,

dusk creeps in,
the cycle complete,
darkness surrounds,
as tears soak the sheet.
