New Love

Emotions becoming hard to hold in
Just the image of your beautiful face
The image sends my hearts racing
Makes my breath shorter and shorter

I find myself awaiting the next time we meet
The next time I can hold you in my arms
The next time I can feel your soft lips
The next time I can feel your hearts against mine

What I am feeling right now is new
For it is not love but something more
Something that is hard to explain
Something that is hard to understand

But looking into your eyes I can see
I can understand what this is
It is eternal........
It is what I can only believe to be

New Love...

    This was a wonderful poem and I loved the iamgery here. I think you did an amazing job with telling a story here and the way you ended this was simply flawless. I agree with the person above, your poem doesn't have to rhyme to be great and this was indeed a wonderful poem. You write with such intensity and emotions. I love it. One of your best I have to say.     What I loved most about this poem is that it didnt rhyme lol. Most people think that in order for it to be poetry, it has to have rhyme. WRONG. I consider this a great poem for the fact that it showed emotion and your usage of vocabulary was great. 5/5
