Buring Midnight Blue

by blackheartslove   Oct 14, 2009

Standing all alone
On a crowded street
Smoking another cigarette
As the angels weep
She's going down
On wings of fire tonight

Her teardrops fall from heaven
Carrying a sad melody
A black casket
For the girl that no one knew
Wilted petals scattered
Crushed and broken like her soul

These hollow eyes still haunt her
Farther still she falls
Calm black waters in a raging storm
Her silent screams
So loud they go unheard

An angels kiss
A lovers hand
Just another wish
For them to understand

One more heart unnoticed
Is just another hand thats held
Stained glass windows
Midnight blue
She's slipping through the fire
Burning just like you
