Never Say Never

I'll never forget
the day darkness came.
And ...
the sun crumbled
with each drop of rain.

Amazing how
hearts can hang from the moon
yet, never see the stars.
To live yet die
within the same breath.

Soul died ... pain lived !
Heaven and Hell collided ...
and until the last of the last
breath -
they would play in my memories.

Never say never was
-untouchable-
when forever was alive ...
yesterday.

The day before the skies fell ...

    WOW. I'm speechless! That usually doesn't happen to me haha. That was beautiful! I have never read that anywhere else, it was a poem in itself.

    'the sun crumbled
    with each drop of rain.'
    ^These lines blew me away, I have never heard of this expression used but I must say I adore it. Obviously when it rains, the sunshine goes away, what a unique way of describing this--the sun crumbling. You couldnt have described it any better!

    'hearts can hang from the moon
    yet, never see the stars.'
    ^Another very powerful, & original lines. Left me speechless & in deep thought.

    Wow...you sure dont leave the reader with many words after reading this spectacular piece. I again apologize for not noticing this sooner, very very deserving. :]
