The Day the Music Died [Villanelle]

by Kuro   Nov 16, 2009

The day the music died
There was nothing left for me
All I could do was cry

The glorious sound that none can deny
Can no longer set my soul free
The day the music died

Slowly dripping from my eye
Tears flow involuntarily
All I could do was cry

The guitar that lifted my spirit high
Has fallen silent for me
The day the music died

Feeling dead on the inside
No color left to sing to me
All I could do was cry

There is more for me to imply
But will you be able to see
The day the music died
All I could do was cry

A very somber poem. i like it!!

I myself couldn't be able to accept a music free world.

    Music is divine.
