I ask myself every night
Before I go to sleep
Why do I Fear
Taking the leap?

A continuous battle
Between the heart and mind
End up frozen in time
Mute, Def, and Blind

For the right moment
Should I wait?
But will it ever come?
To be entwined by fate?

What if the closed eyes never open?
Not to see tomorrow's light?
Did I just waste my chance?
Will this be my last night?

So I surrender to sleep
Once again admitting defeat
Thinking how tomorrow
Everything will just repeat.
