Life is a Play

by Kayla   Dec 10, 2009

People do not get high to compensate
For being mad or angry.
They do it to cope or express the certain
Emotion that they are experiencing,
Or just to have a good time.
It has to do with covering up
The hurt you keep locked inside
And to just pretend it was never there.
Life is a play.
We, as people, are the puppets.
Being controlled by, as *ssholes,
Our government, who are like our
Ventriloquists.
They put lies into our heads,
Which makes us think them,
And we, as dumb*sses, must believe
Them and spread these lies.
We all are just pretending the world is perfect
And we just cover up all the sh*t
That's going on with other sh*t,
Which just turns into more sh*t which
Gets to be even more sh*ttier.
Like the hurt.
Cover it up if you want,
It'll just keep coming back.
Drink to TRY to make it go away.
Smoke to TRY to make it go away.
Cut to TRY to make it go away.
But,
No matter what I do to cover it up,
I will always know that it's there.
It will always be with me,
And haunt me,
Until I do something about it
That doesn't have to do with
Minor side effects.
