Promises Made Anew

'..as newborn angels hover'
^I feel like the usage of hover demolished the beauty this line was supposed to have. When something hovers over you, you dont normally think of it as a good thing.. like dark skies hovering over you.. get what I'm saying? so saying newborn angels hover really destroys the beauty of the presence of angels.

'I won't keep charity
..but paint it over
....blemished canvasses.'
^A beautiful & uplifting ending. I think this poem can connect easily to the new year we have here. How we paint over blemished canvasses hoping to start anew.

The last stanza to me seemed like you are ready to begin fresh, painting over blemished canvasses.. I liked that a lot. Nicely done..

I like that first line very much, indeed we should not pass judgement, that is His job, not ours..we have no knowledge of what the other has had to endure prior to the situation that makes others want to pass judgement.
