A Single Spark Of Love The Poem

A Single Spark Of Love The Poem
By Ray Smallshaw

From were it comes will we ever know,
Is it Gods touch or a phantoms blow?
Its aim is to conquer our open hearts,
By binding us to whom our love departs,
A single spark of Love that knows no rules,
So igniting its fire in us its fools,
Encompassing us the unsuspecting in its eternal inferno,
A friend or stranger, heart lost in its everlasting glow,
Lost forever to infinite love,
Pierced by Loves arrows radiated from up above,
Whose single spark of Love caused its fire to rage?
Opening into their life Love as a new page,
For them to record its wonder,
Love in all its glory splitting their hearts and setting it asunder.

A very contemplative love poem, Ray.
