Beautiful disaster

by Hopeless Romantic   Jan 13, 2010

You were the right guy
at the time
I was the right girl
I thought
that could be part of your world
Things was so right
My friends agreed with me
I felt so complete

Then one day
you walked away
I didn't understand
how you could let go of my hand
I cried and plead
for you to stay with me
but that didn't work
Cause the very next day
I saw you with another girl

And you are
my beautiful disaster
everything i wanted
everything i needed
was all in you
taking everything when you left
and now i have nothing left
you are my beautiful disaster

I try my best to turn away
everytime i see your beautiful face
but my eyes glaze in the memory
reminiscing on how we use to be
sometimes i feel as though
It's impossible to go on
i'm having so much trouble
The pain is double
then this poem
my heart's steady slowing

Cause you are
my beautiful disaster
you were the best of me
and now i'm incomplete
You've drifted away in the wind
I've lost everything i didn't win
At night i see your beautiful face
and I think that reality is a bad dream
I wake up then and realize
It wasn't real
I'll love you forever
but from now on your my beautiful disaster
