One more day, put on my mask
Forget the question they want to ask
Can't you see my mask I wear
Hiding the pain and scars I bare

Cloaked with lies, perception skewed
All the easier to ignore the truth
As long as the words do sooth
Mirror the ones that you have viewed

Without color its just too plain

    Awesome...Lol I cannot believe this hasn't been commented on. Your have a pure talent my friend... and I admire your poems. They are so full of truth. Many of us do indeed hide behind a mask... and it does take guts to be different/not surrender to the norm... (if thats what it is.. ) I think we are the normal ones! HaHa. My fav. quote is.... " In a crazy world only the mad are sane." A well penned piece that flows and rhymes so well. Excellent :) Take care dear friend, and keep penning!
